Beautiful park. Probable one of my favorite parks. We have our annual BBQ get together at this park. A lot of parking, not crowded, play area for the kids, track for biking or running, a small lake. I didn't see any grills but you can bring your own. Love visiting here.

Closes at dusk, Beautiful sunset at the lake. Don't try staying after closing you can get $250 ticket. And they go around

We come for our annual family cook out and love the scenery. The amenities, namely the pool and accompanying changing area need an overhaul though. It tends to be over crowded and there is NO private changing area, nor lockers. The snack bar could use some fresh water, theirs tastes like the lake. Otherwise the grounds are nice, we have never had an issue finding space and a barbecue and overall have a good time!

The pool is crowded because it's inexpensive. $3 a head and maybe $7-$8 to park. We went on a very hot summer day for the first time. I was surprised how crowded it was for such a large facility (see photo and zoom in). The grounds are enormous. There are lots of people there outside the pool BBQ'ing and blasting music. Inside the pool you are not allowed food. There is separate entrance for men and women. There is lots of area to pick from to put your chairs and towels (the pool provides no chairs). There are two pools. One is shallow for small kids. The other pool is enormous. Many times larger than an Olympic pool. There are plenty of lifeguards and also the pool has a snack bar. I'm not sure if I would go back here.

Perfect place to go biking with the family. Beautiful scenic lake, only about 3 miles around so my little one can make it too! Bathrooms available all over the place, as well as benches to stop and picnic tables. There's also a playground at one point as well as a butterfly garden and other interesting things. You have to pay to park like most NYS parks, however you can park free outside the lot and bike in, or get a free pass if you have a 4th grader.
